When our technicians can move freely and work without interruption, they get the best results. For safety and convenience, please be sure friends and family stay clear of the rooms to be serviced. Please put pets in a safe, quiet place, where our cleaning won’t disturb them. We also ask that clients keep an extra close eye on little ones while Pro-Care technicians are on site. PLEASE avoid scheduling any other service companies while we are on-site. If there are professionals who must overlap our cleaning appointment, it is important to share the guidelines covered here.

Make sure the carpeted AREAS ARE fully accessible for cleaning.

Please clear carpet of personal belongings. Removing clothing, toys, electronics, etc will insure our technicians can work efficiently. Please secure all breakables and remove small furnishings such as dining room chairs, ottomans, floor lamps, plants or accent tables. That way, we can clean under them before they are put back in place. We cannot move computer equipment, china cabinets, sectional sofas, entertainment centers, beds, antique or fragile furniture. However, carpet underneath such items can be cleaned where sufficient room is available, or we can edge closely around the base of the largest pieces. We ask that any full-length draperies are pinned up at least 6 inches off the floor. Pinning up skirts on upholstered furniture also helps gives our team access to your carpet.

Communicate your concerns about the items Or Areas to be Cleaned.

Please plan to be on site at the beginning of your carpet cleaning appointment. That way you can inspect the item or walk the area with the technicians before work begins. Take this opportunity to share any special instructions about moving your furniture. Point out concerns like weak legs, loose tops or previous repairs. The pre-inspection will also give you the chance to call attention to areas which may require special cleaning. It is particularly helpful when clients point out pre-existing spots, stains, soiling or defects on carpets to be cleaned.

Lastly, plan to set aside time for your carpet to dry fully before resuming use of the room. When possible we will set up air movers to improve drying time. We also ask that you leave the plastic “tabs” and “blocks” under your furniture for 48 hours after cleaning. And always use extreme caution when walking from damp carpet onto any hard surface flooring. Now, just enjoy your newly cleaned carpets!
