John Browning was cleaning carpets before he could drive. In fact he grew up in the trade, helping his father with Anne’s Carpet Cleaning, the family business, through his school years. In 1989 he signed on with W.W. Grainger where he stayed for eight years and where he met Lisa, who would become his wife. John started a small carpet cleaning company in 1997. Meanwhile, across town, Jim Kirkpatrick was growing his own carpet care business, Pro-Care, which he started in 1995. John bought Pro-Care in ’99 and the company has flourished ever since. Looking back, Browning remembers that after years of textile care experience he still had to learn how to be the sort of business man that could lead, market, and manage daily operations. Now, when he is asked what he likes about being president, John says he most enjoys creating a positive culture in the company and around the office, knowing that this guarantees our clients an outstanding service experience. When in the office, John covers all areas of service, from manning the phones, to prepping equipment and keeping up with correspondence. As busy as he is, between tasks he is known to cut up with the administrative team and staff. When not on the clock, John prioritizes time with his family, and likes to putter around his home workshop or ride his bike.

Kevin Warrington

Operations & Hard Surface Manager

First certified in 1998 by the IICRC, Kevin Warrington already had six years of full time cleaning experience before being hired at Pro-Care. Now in his 15th year with our company, Kevin has attained multiple distinctions, including Master Textile Cleaner (this includes 5 separate certifications as well as on-the-job experience); Journeyman Water Damage Restorer; Stone, Masonry, and Ceramic Tile Cleaning and more. In his time in the field, Kevin has found the old saying to be true, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Kevin cares. He is proud of his record of professional recognition – for his commitment to continuing education, customer service, ethics, and overall contributions to the industry. Clients have commended him for his attention to detail, efficient service and personable manner. Kevin says that what he likes best about working for Pro-Care is the company culture, and working with a team that shares his goals and commitment to service.Off the clock he enjoys books, movies, and other media and is a self-proclaimed Sci-Fi/Fantasy geek.

Trey Moon

Rug Plant Manager

Throughout his career, Trey Moon has built a strong knowledge base as a fine fabric and textile cleaning specialist. Trey began by working in the dry cleaning industry for six years while in high school and college. This laid an excellent foundation for learning about the various fiber types in fine clothing. In 2005, he joined Pro-Care and earned his first Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Since then he has worked with virtually every fiber type and soiling condition known in the industry while providing outstanding service experiences to middle Tennesseans.

Meticulous attention to detail made Trey a prime candidate to become Rug Plant Manager at Pro-Care. He was trained in the cleaning of specialty rugs by industry authority Ruth Travis. He also apprenticed under Ms. Travis for more than a year and a half before taking over management responsibilities in Pro-Care’s Rug Plant. As a WoolSafe approved fabric care specialist, Trey uses the most advanced cleaning methods available.

A native of Nashville, Trey holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Along with Trey’s 15 years of experience in Fine Fabric care, he also holds a Master Textile Cleaner title, the highest designation in the professional textile maintenance industry. His seven IICRC certifications include Rug Cleaning; Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning; Carpet Cleaning; Odor Control; Color Repair; Carpet Repair and Re installation; Stone, Masonry and Ceramic Tile Cleaning

Andrea Dillinger

Office Supervisor

With a background in commercial arts and graphic design, and ten years in management and photography, Andrea Dillinger knows a lot about marketing and business. Since January of 2015, Andrea has been the voice of Pro-Care, greeting guests and offering assistance by phone to designers, commercial accounts, residential clients and technicians in the field. Andrea values the Pro-Care company mission to offer “the most outstanding service experience ever” and she appreciates that the entire employee family makes that mission their focus. In fact, Andrea says that Pro-Care has become her home away from home. When she is not in the office, Andrea loves to take on DIY projects, crafting and event-planning. She and her husband Craig (also a member of the Pro-Care technical team) co-parent a malti-poo named “Kitty”.

Wendy Morrison

Client Care Specialist

Wendy Morrison has spent 15 years in sales and interior design. A Nashville native, she joined the Pro-Care family in the summer of 2017. Her work as a Client Care Specialist allows Wendy to be a Brand Ambassador for the company, visiting partner businesses, answering questions about the referral program and our various services, keeping the database and website updated and participating in community events. Wendy is a published designer and writer with an MLA from the University of North Carolina, Asheville. She stands behind Pro-Care’s emphasis on service and enjoys being part of such a qualified and experienced team, “I love that I can connect with the public. I truly believe in the Pro-Care mission which is all about providing outstanding service – in my case, to our industry partners. I enjoy using my creativity and sales experience to promote the company.” When she is not ‘on the road’ or behind her desk, Wendy loves creative projects and time with family.

Craig Dillinger

Craig Dillinger is a jack-of-all-trades. Craig provides support by managing tools and equipment, preparing rooms for cleaning and protection services, and insuring thorough service and consistent work flow. Craig holds multiple industry certifications. He says the best part of working for Pro-Care are “the co-workers and work environment.” His outside interests include music concerts, sports, cooking on the grill, and giving a great haircut. Wed to Pro-Care’s Administrative Assistant Andrea (the voice on the phone when clients call with questions or appointment requests), Craig is the proud ‘papa’ of Kitty, their 5 year old Maltipoo.

Evan Brewer

Technician

Evan Brewer is among Pro-Care’s most experienced technicians.Now in his 8th year with the company, Evan is certified by the IICRC in carpet cleaning; carpet repair and re-installation; odor control; stone, masonry, and ceramic tile cleaning; upholstery and fabric cleaning; and water damage restoration and he has reached Journeyman status as a textile cleaner and a water restorer. Evan has a lot of things he likes about working for Pro-Care. He values his co-workers and the clientele our team serves. “I enjoy using my knowledge and experience to help people,” says Evan, and he is proud to work for such an “honest, ethical company.” When he is not on the job at Pro-Care, Evan is a successful professional musician who both performs and teaches the bass guitar. He and his wife are enjoying being first-time parents.

Harry Dalvine

After a year in the navy and 3 years in retail, Harry Dalvine has been a member of the Pro-Care technical team since 2015. He has earned certification from the IICRC for carpet cleaning and for upholstery and fabric cleaning. He is a full-time assistant to Trey Moon in the area rug program. Thanks to experiential learning, Harry can share his professional secret, “Being pro-active is the key to customer service.” He appreciates the way that company organization and structure keep things running smoothly at Pro-Care and values the ease with which everyone works together. When he has a little downtime, Harry enjoys volunteering for community and educational theater, reading, and relaxing with family and friends.

Johnathan Upchurch

Johnathan Upchurch spent years of supporting designers and furniture businesses as a delivery specialist before joining Pro-Care last year. Johnathan has already earned certification with the IICRC for Carpet and Upholstery cleaning. He says he likes working for Pro-Care because of the feeling of teamwork among the employees, and he appreciates the moral underpinnings of the company mission. Johnathan knows that every client and every job is unique so he brings his best effort to each Pro-Care opportunity. He takes pride in offering “the most outstanding service experience ever.” When not serving the public, Johnathan enjoys following the Tennessee Titans. He shares a busy home life with his three kids.

Operations and Administration

After his work in Fleet Management at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for NASA and a 15-year career in customer service, Mike Johnson joined the Pro-Care team in 2016. He has already earned certification from the IICRC for cleaning carpet and upholstery in his first year and has risen to the rank of lead technician.Mike says that our company has a “great working atmosphere” and he is proud to be part of a team of knowledgeable professionals. One of Mike’s best take-aways from years with Pro-Care is the importance of training and simply taking the extra time necessary to get the best results. A father of three, Mike spends weekends with family and friends.
